We must do our very best to stop thinking traditionally and get back to what the Word of God says.
I believe that we are "growing" into the perfect image of Christ (Eph 4). This is a growth process. As we grow we will be forced to change the way we think. The mindset we as the Church has unfortunately at it's roots everything we learned from the past.
Unfortunately what we think is right, may very well be wrong. It is so important to always go back and compare what we do and what we currently think with the Word of God. No matter how Orthodox it is. Most Christian heros (like Martin Luther) were persecuted for "unorthodox" beliefs while alive, but became heros when they were dead.
In saying that.. This blog is my way of hashing over new thoughts of mine and ranting's concerning things we do that hinder man from experiencing God to the fullest. The content is neither right or wrong, its my way of growing. The Bereans never accepted everything thing they heard, they tested it with the Word (..Now the Bereans were of more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true..) Acts 17:11
Test what we do.. It may be wrong. Dont be content with wrong just because you dont want to change. You maybe held accountable to God for it.
